When Retsel sold its first grain mill more than 60 years ago, we revolutionized the concept of grain grinding and literally set a new standard in the business.
In doing so, we also immediately became one of the most imitated products in history.
At Retsel, we have been defending our company and our reputation against poor quality knockoffs of our products for decades. Through diligent policing of the marketplace, close cooperation with U.S. and international customs authorities, and aggressive legal action, we have successfully defended the honor and integrity of our brand many times.
Today's Internet marketplace is flooded with an increasing number of counterfeit and "look-alike" grain mills and parts thereof that are illegally represented and sold as genuine Retsel products. In some cases, these grain mills or parts thereof bear only a passing resemblance to our real products, but are illegally marked with our brand logo. In other cases, these imitations are frighteningly accurate reproductions of our parts made with substandard steel and other materials. Differentiating them from authentic, genuine Retsel products has become increasingly difficult.
In response to this serious issue, Retsel has redoubled its efforts to combat the manufacture, importation, and sale of counterfeit parts, especially in Australia.
Retsel has worked very hard for more than three decades to earn a reputation for producing reliable, high-performance grain grinding tools and accessories. We deserve that hard-earned reputation and will work just as hard to protect it, our integrity, and the integrity of our products. Please support us in our efforts with your commitment to purchase only genuine Retsel products and contest any false and slanderous unsubstantiated reviews on the internet. Most of those slanderous reviews are cleverly posted by impostors or individuals posing as consumers but in fact are simply motivated by greed and ill will by our knock off competitors.
COUNTERFEIT RETSEL MILLS/ PARTS AND WARRANTY REPAIRS
Retsel warranty policy is fair and simple: We warrant that all of our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. We do that because they are our products and we take full responsibility for their quality.
Logically, if we did not make something, we cannot accept any responsibility for its quality. It's that simple.
If you return a mill or part to us and we determine that it is not a genuine Retsel product or if it has been modified in any way, we will inform you of that fact and return it to you at your expense. Under no circumstances will we perform any service or repairs—no matter how minor—on any counterfeit, knockoff, or other modified non-Retsel product.
What can you do to support Retsel 's efforts and protect yourself against the risk of receiving a counterfeit mill or part?
The answer is a lot. Here are some suggestions:
Do your homework and become thoroughly familiar with our products before you buy from on E-bay or anywhere online any used Retsel mills or parts. The more you understand the quality and features of our genuine products, the easier it will be for you to spot and avoid fakes.
Remember that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Retsel makes premium-quality appliances and parts thereof from premium-quality materials and price our products appropriately. If you see a Retsel grain mill or part being sold for a ridiculously low price, it's probably not a genuine product.
Buy your knives exclusively from Retsel directly or from reputable dealers who sells only genuine, name-brand Retsel food producers. You may pay a little more, but the service and peace of mind you will have are well worth it. And, in the unlikely event, your Retsel requires service, you can return it to us with the confidence that we will stand behind it.
One of Retsel's most powerful weapons against counterfeit products and false slanderous reviews found on social media that is motivated by our competitors is our devoted community of fans. Those who have used real Retsel products swear by them and help us police the marketplace for counterfeits. They also help other Retsel fans avoid being cheated. By joining the forums on many social media sites, you can have access to the latest information on counterfeit trends and threats.

Delivery lead time on any/all Retsel products is 6 (six) days and maximum of 6 (six) months (special order item(s). F.O.B. from the time order is accepted by Retsel Corporation, McCammon, Idaho 83250
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR RETSEL® MIL-RITE™ ELECTRIC GRAIN MILL
RETSEL® CORPORATION warrants the electric Mil-rite™ to the first consumer purchaser, for the period of 10 years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers all parts and labor.
- You must return the warranty card either by mail or e-mail format within 60 days of receipt of your product to Retsel® Corporation to activate this warranty.
- To e-mail your warranty information, simply e-mail the copy of the warranty card to service@retsel.com
- This warranty given by RETSEL® CORPORATION does not apply to the appearance of any Product which has been subjected to misuse, mishandling or serviced by any unauthorized service person or to any Product which has been damaged by grinding popcorn, white rice or salt, defaced, modified, altered, or tampered with, either externally or internally. This warranty given by Retsel™ Corporation does not apply to any mills that have been used for milling things that the mill was not intended for. The Mil-rite™ is not intended to grind rice, salt or popcorn. Grinding those materials will void the warranty. This limited warranty covers only defectiveness of the merchandise. Retsel™ Corporation will not repair or replace any Mil-rite™ when it's used in other than normal single family home use.
RETSEL® CORPORATION, at RETSEL'S® sole option, will repair or replace any Product that proves to be defective within 10 years from the date of purchase at no charge to the purchaser except for a fee of $35.00 for handling, packaging, return postage and insurance.
Should service be required:
1. Carefully pack the Product along with all of its accessories and other original materials in the original carton and packing materials (if still available) or in another suitable carton with sufficient protective padding to avoid injury to the product during shipping. Particular attention should be paid to the switch on the electric motor. We advise to use the base from the Mil-rite™ as a shield to protect the switch or duck tape a smaller heavy duty cardboard box around the switch to protect the switch from braking off during shipping. This is also easily accomplished by wrapping the base around the rear part of the motor where the switch is located at. Then by using packaging , electrical, or masking tape solidly tape the base to the entire length of the motor. Then put the electric mill inside a tight, well padded cardboard box. Finally, put that box inside of a slightly larger cardboard box. Having a double or triple boxed package should protect the switch and the motor from damage during transit.
2. You MUST ENCLOSE:
-A copy of the original packing slip or receipt. Please keep one copy for your own records.
-Your check or money order for $35.00, payable to RETSEL® CORPORATION. This check will be returned back to you if it's determined that the mill is defective and is still covered under warranty.
-A note describing the problem that needs to be repaired.
3. Ship the Product, prepaid, by insured United Parcel Sevice (UPS) for your original purchase price to:

Upon the receipt of your mill or parts for repairs, Retsel® will send you a repair estimate in the mail within 20 days of receipt of the parts or the mill. If the the parts/mill is determined to be found defective, Retsel® Corporation will pay for all the return shipping back to you. (Continental United States and Canada only). It is the responsibility of the consumer to pay the $35.00 return shipping cost on Mil-rites™ determined not to be covered under the warranty. Retsel® Corporation will reimburse the consumer and pay for all the shipping costs if the mill is determined to be defective.
- Any items not claimed or paid for within the first 30 days of receipt of repair estimate will become property of Retsel Corporation.
- LIMITED WARRANTY FOR RETSEL® LITTLE ARK™ AND UNI-ARK™ HAND MILLS
RETSEL® CORPORATION warrants to the first consumer purchaser, for lifetime from the date of purchase, the Little ark or Uni-ark™ mill when shipped in its original packaging, will be free from defects in manufacture and materials.
RETSEL® CORPORATION, at RETSEL'S® sole option, will repair or replace any hand mill to the original purchaser only that proves to be defective forever at no charge to the purchaser except for a fee of $10 for handling, packing, return postage and insurance fee. This warranty is void if the hand mill is motorized or retrofitted in any way or form.
- Any items not claimed, paid , or deposit payment has not been issued for within the first 30 days of receipt of repair estimate will become property of Retsel Corporation.
- Should service be required:
1. Carefully pack the Product along with all of its accessories and other original materials in the original carton and packing materials (if still available) or in another suitable carton with sufficient protective padding to avoid injury to the Product during shipping.
2. You MUST ENCLOSE:
-A copy of your original packing slip or invoice. Please keep one copy for your own records.

RETSEL® CORPORATION HASSLE FREE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY AND 30 DAY RETURN POLICY
We are so confident the quality of our products meets the exacting standards of Retsel® mills that if your Retsel mill shall fail within the first 30 days of ownership, Retsel® Corporation will arrange to deliver an identical or comparable replacement unit to your door free of charge and arrange to have your original Retsel® mill returned to us at no cost to you. Your replacement unit will also be covered by it's original warranty.
All items (except special order items) purchased from RETSEL® CORPORATION may be returned for a full purchase refund if returned to Retsel® Corporation within 30 days of receipt of the product. Any item (except special order items) may be returned for any reason. A minimum 25% restocking/processing fee will apply to all special order items returned. No refunds will be issued after 30 days of receipt of any goods.
You may return any non special items for any reason. If you wish to return an item for refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt of any goods, please follow these simple steps:
1. Carefully pack the Product along with all of its accessories and other original materials in the original carton and packing materials (if still available) or in another suitable carton with sufficient protective padding to avoid injury to the Product during shipping.

A return authorization number IS NOT required if your package will be shipped to and accepted by Retsel® Corporation within 30 days of your receipt of the original product. You must send the package to Retsel® Corporation by insured mail only, covering the total replacement value. All non-insured warranty or refund parts/parcels will not be accepted.
A return authorization number WILL BE required for any merchandise returned to Retsel® Corporation after 30 days of receipt of the original product or if the item returned is a special order item.
All special order items are NOT COVERED by this warranty. A return authorization number is required on all special order items and any other items returned for repairs after 30 days of delivery from Retsel™ Corporation. There will be no refunds issued for any special items and/or electrical item(s) installed.
A special order items would include:
1. All Mill Master electric grain mills.
2. Any two way electrical switch installed in any electrical motor.
- 3. Any electrical motors other than 110 volt, 60Hz, 1/4 hp, 42 RPM.
4. Any special modifications on any mill, including manual or electric
5. Any special made part(s), repairs, or retrofits for any mill, manual or electric.
6. All special orders are marked accordingly on the original shipping invoice. A minimum of 25% restocking/processing fee will apply to all special order grain mills returned to the factory within the first 30 days of receipt.
- 7. All purchases made with check or money orders, all discounted items require RA (Return Authorization) by Retsel Corporation
- before being sent back for refunds or returns.
- Due to U.S.D.A. regulations, all grain sales are final and there will be no returns or refunds on any grain sales.
TO RETURN YOUR MILL OR PARTS FOR REPAIRS
For all repairs please send the item(s) postage prepaid , insured for the total replacement value to our physical address. Upon receipt of the item(s) we will send you an estimate of repair in the mail and/or e-mail within 20 business days. If you believe that the item is covered under the original warranty, also include a copy of the original invoice with your part.
